简介：奥斯卡获奖电影《Crash》（撞车）今年将被Starz频道拍成电视剧，这也是该电视频道建立以来第一部原创情节类电视剧。Starz是一个以播放电影为主的频道，类似于国内的电影频道。据称，除了缔造者David Cronenberg之外，原《Crash》电影的大部分幕后制作人员－－包括编剧、导演兼制片人Paul Haggis，制片人Bobby Moresco、Bob Yari、Don Cheadle、Mark R. Harris及执行制片人Tom Nunan在内－－都将参与剧集的制作。据悉，该片的叙事方式将和电影版本如出一辙，但是不会有任何一个电影版的角色出现在电视剧版中。也就是说，电视剧版从角色到情节都是全新的。该剧5月初开机拍摄。电影版本的介绍参见：花絮《Crash》最初是当作一部电视剧来构思的，只是因为种种原因未能如愿。想不到初始剧本被改写成电影剧本后，反而取得了巨大成功。如今《Crash》重回小屏幕，势必成为2008年新剧中的亮点，也将成为2009年艾美奖的热门候选。不过，尽管剧本的改编难度不大，但要网罗电影版中那样庞大的全明星阵容，是不可能的事。此外，电视剧不可能只关注 "种族矛盾" 这一个话题，还有庞大而繁杂的情节线需要编剧来慢慢梳理。该剧剧本最初被提交给FX电视台，但FX刚刚续订了《Dirt》、《The Riches》和《Damages》三部招牌剧，因此否掉了《Crash》的拍摄计划。好莱坞各大电视网大多数普通剧集的平均花费大约为250万美元／集，Starz自称 "绝对不会低于这个预算"。负责改编和拍摄该剧的狮门公司对该剧充满了信心。This drama, developed by Lionsgate for Starz, is a small screen version of the Paul Haggis helmed feature about race relations in LA.

Jeremy dates a glamorous aristocrat, throwing her over for his career's sake when she tells him she is pregnant, and later finding he has dumped a millionairess.Dead ReckoningKavanagh goes to Yorkshire fishing port Stainmouth to prosecute Roy Lawrence for negligence after his apparently unseaworthy trawler sank,claiming five lives including Roy's son Paul. The defence claims that a submarine collided with the boat, a claim that becomes more and more likely. Roy is popular in the bereaved community and even Emma, Kavanagh's junior, feels sorry for him, but Kavanagh believes Roy had his own agenda and is not the philanthropist he seems. He also averts a chambers crisis by dissuading Tom from leaving.
