简介：唐卡是一种西藏的卷轴绘，它在藏文中的意思是“平坦、展开、广阔”。被当地人尊称为“活佛”得到它的人将获得一生平安与好运。故事发生在中国的内蒙古，一个美国商人钱伯斯花重金雇佣前美军特种兵的朗森帮他去寻觅宝物。以朗森为首，带上一个本地人当作活地图，带上一个考古学家当作翻译者，加上美国人钱伯斯和他的养女安妮卡和几个保镖组成一个寻宝探险队。在危险偏僻的内蒙古找寻一件无价之宝——由金银丝线织成，上面镶嵌着钻石珠宝的唐卡。这个唐卡不仅是东方的圣物，而且价值连城。这个无价之宝也让贪婪凶残的前俄罗斯军官朱柯夫垂涎 。在寻觅过程中，与同样想得到唐卡宝藏的俄罗斯特工展开了一场心惊肉战的搏杀，险象环生的车轮阵，然而这些特工不光只是冲着唐卡而去。到底唐卡中藏蕴着怎样的神奇…到底特工想要得到的是什么？最终正义的朗森把唐卡留在了当地寺院，消失在落日的余辉之中。
