tle is a play on the phrase At Her Majestys Pleasure (the show was performed at Her Majestys Theatre, London). In America, the film was originally called Monty Python Meets Beyond the Fringe.This show came to be considered part of the Secret Policemans Ball series of shows that it inspired, although it pre-dated the first show in the series by three years.The event was organized by a team of three: Monty Python member John Cleese, Amnestys Assistant Director Peter Luff and Transatlantic Records executive Martin Lewis. It featured the cream of Britains comedic talent of the era, setting a precedent that would inspire many subsequent Amnesty galas, as well as Comic Relief. The concept was also the inspiration of similar events, also in aid of Amnesty International in countries around the world as far away as Australia, in the case of the Stand Up For Your Rights Comedy Galas.The film consists of both on-stage and back-stage footage, taken from all three nights of the run (1–3 April 1976).Luff and Lewis collaborated on producing the successor show - video-taped in 1977 as The Mermaid Frolics. 简介：《被困在外》是一部充满了法式幽默的电影，讲述了流浪汉如何咸鱼翻身，赢得美人归的故事。充满正义感的流浪汉目睹一个警察的自杀，想把警察的遗物送回到警察局，竟然被大堂办事员训斥了一番，根本没有给他解释的机会，只能灰溜溜的出去。但是经不住警察局饭堂的美味，他穿上了警察的衣服混进去，饱餐了一顿。由此看见了女主人公，她由于女儿的原因正在被人告。这位女士年轻的时候拍过色情小电影，从良后在一个卖色情影碟的商店工作。很不幸，结婚不久她的老公就出车祸死了，现在公公婆婆把孙女藏起来。她每天晚上去寻找女儿，哄女儿睡觉。流浪汉惊为天人，看得口水都流下来，于是主动帮助她寻找回她的女儿。由于他的自作聪明，闹出了不少笑话。当然，最后他成功地找到小女孩，亦成功地抱得美人归。
